Motiv HD Ball Plug Kit 2 Gallon
The Motiv HD Ball Plug Kit is a professional filling system designed for plugging holes in bowling balls. The material has proven successful in reactive resin, urethane and polyester bowling balls and provides excellent adhesion to a wide range of coverstock materials.
Once cured, HD Ball Plug provides excellent resistance to cracking, chipping and impact. Virtually no post-cure shrinkage helps reduce the risk of separation or flat spots around the plugged area.
The formulation allows trapped air to escape before the material cures, helping to prevent air bubbles. Once fully cured, the material can be drilled cleanly and accurately. It is designed to drill straight and true while reducing bit chatter and chipping around the rim of the plugged hole.
At the recommended temperatures, the material cures in approximately 6–8 hours. The resin compound and hardener are mixed at a 3:1 ratio. This makes the HD Ball Plug Kit an excellent choice for professional bowling ProShops performing regular plugging and redrilling work.
